Zhovti Vody Cross Duathlon Honors Memory of Maksym Moroz

On May 25, the city of Zhovti Vody hosted the Open City Cup in cross duathlon, an event dedicated to the memory of Maksym Moroz. The race brought together amateur and age-group athletes across multiple divisions, celebrating competition and community spirit.

In the men’s 18–24 age group, Illia Taranenko claimed victory, with Dmytro Kostiuk crossing the line in second place.

The 31–39 age category saw strong performances from Rostyslav Mishchenko and Anna Hanul, who each topped their respective podiums. The men’s runner-up spots went to Maksym Kliuchnyk and Ivan Mosin, while Kseniia Minina took silver among the women.

Among 40–45-year-olds, Dmytro Martyniuk and Yelyzaveta Poliudova took top honors, while Oleksandr Hanul and Serhii Parshyn rounded out the podium as runners-up.

Yuliia Yatsenko and Vasyl Medetskyi were the sole representatives in the 46–50 age group, while in the senior division (50+), Yevhen Vindyrskykh delivered a standout performance to secure first place, ahead of Andrii Budaka.

In the junior division, Volodymyr Panchenko took the win, followed by Lev Storchak in second.
