Ukrainian Duathlon Championship 2025 – Full Results Recap

This Sunday in Odesa, the city once again hosted the national age-group championship in duathlon, returning with the familiar sprint format that thrilled athletes and fans last season.
Alexander Khadyko of CapitalTRI (Kyiv) reaffirmed his status as Ukraine’s top age-group duathlete. Last year, he delivered a course-best 57:35. This time, while narrowly missing that mark, he still claimed gold with a dominant 57:57 – the only athlete to break the 58-minute barrier.
But this year also brought a major milestone: the debut of the women’s category!

Anna Botyukh (Aerostar-TeamOne, Kyiv) made history by becoming the first-ever female winner of the Odesa duathlon. She was first onto the bike and never looked back, powering through the final run to take the women’s title in 1:20:06. A new benchmark for future contenders.

Behind her, Odesa’s own Alla Sizova and Kateryna Shabashova (both Triton club) completed the podium. They were followed by Viktoriya Kolomiychuk and Olena Us in a tightly packed finish.
Among the 27 male competitors, Khadyko stood unchallenged. But the battle for the podium was intense:

Ihor Shyrokyi (Aerostar-TeamOne) held off a fierce challenge from Oleg Bimbash (Triton, Odesa), who once again took bronze, repeating his podium from 2024.
Victor Lazanyuk and Serhii Antsupov went head-to-head for 4th, pushing hard to the line.
