UKRAINE VINNYTSIA TRIATHLON CUP: Results

On June 2nd, the Vinnytsia Regional Triathlon Federation held a triathlon competition in two formats – 70.3 and Olympic distances. The start took place in the village of Mohylivka (Blue Lake recreation complex). The cycling leg followed the familiar route from Mohylivka through Hnivan to Vinnytsia. The running leg went through the streets of the city, finishing in Vyshenka.

70.3 Ironman Distance:
Among the men, 24 participants started, along with the only female participant, Kyiv resident Natalia Nikolaeva. Volyn native Oleksandr Lyatsevych (Lutsk Triathlon Federation) won with a time of 4 hours 36 minutes and 37 seconds. The prize winners were Vadym Lepenets from Shpola and Kyiv resident Maksym Lavrenyuk. Viktor Parkhomchuk (AeroStar-TeamOne) and Artem Tyshchuk (Amber Tri Sports) also finished within five hours, securing spots in the top five. Natalia Nikolaeva completed the distance in 6 hours 28 minutes and 48 seconds, representing the Kharenko Team.

Age Groups:

Bohdan Sologub was the youngest participant.
Andrii Stetsiuk won in the 25-29 age group and was one of the favorites in our survey. The group’s prize winners were Van Ly Kyan and Sviatoslav Barshchovskyi.
Maksym Lavrenyuk, the bronze medalist in the overall standings, won the 30-34 age group, with Roman Vykhovanets and Yaroslav Kurmaz also earning medals. Volodymyr Ostrikov took fifth place in the group, receiving the majority of votes in our survey.
Overall winner Oleksandr Lyatsevych led the 35-39 age group, joined on the podium by Vadym Lepenets and Artem Tyshchuk, the third favorite in our survey.
In the 40-44 age group, Viktor Parkhomchuk and Natalia Nikolaeva led, with Oleksandr Melnyk and Oleksii Yaremenko as the prize winners.
Serhii Shpylovyi and Kostiantyn Popovenko represented the older age groups, 45-49 and 50-54, respectively.
Relay 70.3:
Two teams participated in the 70.3 relay. Representatives of the Sapik Team (Viktor Kuibida, Ruslan Saulko, and Denys Mohylnyi) won against team404, represented by Taras Paliienko and Denys Hontar.

Olympic Distance:
Eighteen men and two women competed in the Olympic distance race. Lviv resident Maia Vu To and Kyiv resident from the CapitalTRI club Anton Lytvynenko were the winners. The overall prize winners included Kharkiv resident Andrii Lytvyn and Odesa resident from the Pixel Tri Club Yevhen Tkachuk. The winners’ times were 2 hours 6 minutes and 28 seconds and 3 hours 2 minutes and 38 seconds, respectively.


Age Groups:

Timur Panasenko was the youngest participant among the age groups.
Maia Vu To and Serhii Liatanbur were the only representatives of the 25-29 group.
Yevhen Tkachuk won in the 30-34 age group, with Oleksandr Monul and Denys Zapolskyi as the prize winners.
The overall competition winner represented the 35-39 group, joined on the podium by Hryhorii Zelenyuk and Volodymyr Moroziuk. Anton Lytvynenko received 60% of the votes in our survey for his victory.
Oleksandr Vyhovskyi won the 40-44 age group, with Rodin Nazirov and Kostiantyn Panasenko as the prize winners.
Andrii Lytvyn and Ruslan Bukhanets were the oldest participants, with Andrii winning in the 50-54 age group.
Relay Olympic Distance:
The Poltava team Tverezha Ukraina, consisting of Serhii Kirchyk, Viktor Doletskyi, and Pavlo Koval, competed in the Olympic distance relay.

Last year, the Vinnytsia Regional Triathlon Federation successfully held a series of competitions. In the offseason, the organizers announced open indoor triathlon (aquathlon) competitions, which were canceled, as was the announced series of aquathlon competitions (January 14, February 11, and March 10). This year’s VINNYTSIA TRIATHLON CUP was not included in the National Competition Calendar.
