Ukraine Vinnytsia Triathlon Cup 2025
Ukraine Vinnytsia Triathlon Cup 2025 — A Summer Showdown Across Distances
Over the course of three race days — June 1, July 6, and September 7 — the city of Vinnytsia became the epicenter of Ukrainian triathlon. After a fierce June outing featuring the 70.3, Olympic, and Sprint distances, the second round saw athletes go head-to-head across Olympic, Sprint, and Supersprint formats.
Olympic Distance — A Battle of the CapitalTri Titans
Twenty men and just three women toed the line in the Olympic race, but the action up front was anything but sparse. From the opening swim, Semen Tereshchenko laid down a statement — 17 seconds clear of Anton Lytvynenko and Serhii Chernyshov, all flying the colors of CapitalTri. The trio had already distanced themselves by nearly 3 minutes from the chasers.
On the bike, the CapitalTri express only extended its lead. Tereshchenko and Lytvynenko hit T2 with a 30-second margin on Chernyshov, but it was Anton who turned on the jets in the run, charging to victory. Tereshchenko claimed silver, while Chernyshov rounded out a commanding all-CapitalTri podium.
Krotova Crushes Women’s Field
Among the women, there was no stopping Iryna Krotova of SIS Ukraine Multisport. She dominated the swim and bike, and had more than enough in the tank to hold off the field on the run. Olha Lysak of Podilski VOVKY earned a well-deserved silver, with Iryna Tulskykh of Dnipro grabbing third.
Sprint Distance — Vyhovanets Stays Unbeaten
The Sprint race was once again the stage for Roman Vyhovanets (Aerostar-Team One) to shine. After a tight swim with teammate Viktor Parkhomchuk and Andrii Stetsiuk, the leaders broke clear on the bike. Vyhovanets ran away with the win, finishing 1:15 ahead of Parkhomchuk.
The real drama unfolded behind. Dmytro Khlopytskyi and Andrii Stetsiuk chased down Viktor Blud on the run, with Stetsiuk closing with a blazing split to clinch third. Khlopytskyi and Blud rounded out the top five.
Divnych-Bartoshyk Unstoppable
Olha Divnych-Bartoshyk (Happy TRI Friends) was the undisputed favorite — and she delivered, sweeping every segment en route to a dominant win. Halyna Kyryk took silver, and Myroslava Kozlenko captured bronze. The top 5 were rounded out by Iryna Brezytska and Kateryna Kostrova — both with notable fan backing.
Supersprint — Small Field, Big Wins
Only three athletes lined up for the Supersprint, but the victories were decisive: Vitalii Chupryna and Yulia Parkhomchuk (Aerostar-Team One) topped their fields, with Tamuna Yekhvaia-Kaluhina (SKYLIFE) taking second among the women.
