Algorithm for overcoming the distance
The course consists of two stages. The first stage of swimming in the pool, the second cycling distance on the barre in the simulator “ROUVY”. The time is counted from the starting whistle to the end of overcoming the cycling track. The machines are located near the pool lanes.
Cycling Stage
The organizers provide a full range of equipment for comfortable overcoming the distance, namely
Wahoo Kickr (or equivalent)
Tablet with Rouvy on a convenient stand
Fan
Bicycle mechanic
Volunteer to control time
By prior arrangement, we can provide a bicycle.
We will support bicycles with a cassette for 11 and 10 speeds, and there is also an adapter for the axle
There is also a separate large screen for viewers to observe.
ABOUT THE SERIES
The series consists of individual starts
19.11.2023 Average distance – 500 m swimming and 12 km cycling
17.12.2023 Long distance – 750 m swimming and 20 km cycling
25.02.2024 Deathmatch – knockout race
Middle and long distances – the usual overcoming of the distance 1 time, awarding by time in age categories
- Men: 18-39, 40-59, 60 and older
- Women: 18-39, 40-59, 60 and older
Deathmatch is the final. It has a separate format
- Qualification – 200m swimming and 5km cycling
- Division into divisions of 5-8 people according to the time of qualification.
- Best in A, then B, C and beyond
- Within the division, a separate competition in 3 rounds
– Distance per round – 100 m swimming and 3 km cycling
– after each round, one person is eliminated
– 10 minutes are given per round, taking into account rest
- Awarding in divisions based on the results of the 3rd round
