TRILEWY Aquathlon Cup: Results and Highlights

On December 20-21th, 31 male and 7 female athletes gathered in Lviv to compete in the TRILEWY Aquathlon Cup. Pre-race favorites, based on the poll results, included Anton Litvinenko, Vitalii Volynets, and Olga Kramarenko. However, the final outcome could only be determined on race day.

Women’s Race Recap
After a 400-meter swim, Elena Salo from TRILEWY Club emerged as the leader, clocking 7 minutes and 12 seconds, holding a 13-second advantage over Margarita Radionova. Over a minute behind were Kateryna Artyukhova (TRILEWY) and Olga Kramarenko (CapitalTRI).

The next day, during the 3-kilometer run in the indoor arena, Margarita Radionova overtook Elena Salo to claim victory. Elena finished just 11 seconds behind, securing the silver medal. The battle for third place was intense between Kateryna Artyukhova and Olga Kramarenko, who ran neck-and-neck. Ultimately, Kateryna clinched the bronze, while Olga settled for a respectable fourth place.

Men’s Race Recap
Arsen Savitsky of Gutsul Running Club led the 400-meter swim with a sub-five-minute time. Close behind, Pavel Perebynis of Chameleon Club showcased his exceptional swimming skills, finishing just 7 seconds off the leader. Sergey Drozd (SC TRISPORT) secured third, followed by Anton Litvinenko (CapitalTRI), Vitalii Volynets, and Sergey Chernyshov (CapitalTRI).

On the running track, Anton Litvinenko and Vitalii Volynets dominated, covering 3 kilometers at a blistering pace of 3 minutes 15 seconds per kilometer. Their duel came down to a photo finish, with Anton edging out Vitalii by just 0.3 seconds. Thanks to his swim advantage of 4.3 seconds, Anton Litvinenko of CapitalTRI claimed the overall victory, leaving Vitalii Volynets as the silver medalist.

Arsen Savitsky displayed consistent performance to secure the bronze, holding off challenges from Dmitry Stetsyuk, who finished fourth despite a strong running leg. Sergey Drozd placed fifth, while Pavel Perebynis rounded out the top six.
