Triathlon Hot Pursuit. Battle for Glory in the Heart of OdesaPostika and Sizova rule the podium!

On March 23, Odesa hosted the blazing-fast Triathlon Hot Pursuit — the Ukrainian Indoor Triathlon Championship for veterans of physical culture and sports. With short distances, intense pacing, and a pursuit format, the event delivered exactly what it promised: a no-holds-barred race to the finish.
After a 300-meter swim, the lead pack took shape: Bohdan Demianenko (Iron Club Odesa), Volodymyr Klymenko, Dmytro Madin (Triton), Maksym Vlasenko (Podilski VOVKY), Oleksandr Postika (Triton), and Volodymyr Ryzak (Podilski VOVKY).
By the end of the 8 km bike leg, only three contenders remained. On the run, Postika surged ahead, crossing the line first with a total time of 25:29 over the 0.3 / 8 / 2 km format. Demianenko closed the gap with an explosive final push to take second, while Vlasenko held strong for third. Madin, despite a powerful swim, faded to seventh overall but still claimed his age group title.
Among women, it was a solo masterclass: Alla Sizova (Triton) — the only female finisher in the event — completed the course in 34:43, securing her place as the women’s champion. She’s already registered for the upcoming Triton Duathlon in May. Results
