Kovel Indoor Triathlon 2025 – Thrilling Battles and Record-Breaking Performances!

On February 16, the Kovel Triathlon Federation hosted the Ukrainian Indoor Triathlon Championships, featuring a challenging 500m swim, 10km bike, and 3km run.
Men’s Race: The Battle for the Podium. Right from the start, the 500m swim set a fierce pace as four athletes broke the seven-minute barrier. Anton Lytvynenko led the field with an incredible 6:14, shaving off nearly a full minute from last year’s fastest time. Oleksandr Khadyko, just 13 seconds behind, kept the pressure on, followed closely by Serhii Chernyshov (+25 sec) and Mykyta Nahornyi (+34 sec).
On the bike leg, Oleksandr clawed back 12 seconds, cutting his deficit to just two seconds. But it was on the final 3km run that he surged ahead, overtaking Anton by 23 seconds to claim the overall victory! Anton Lytvynenko secured silver, while Mykyta Nahornyi rounded out the podium with a strong performance.
There was no stopping last year’s champion, Olha Korets, who delivered a sensational title defense! Improving across all three disciplines, she: cut 14 seconds off her swim time, rode 10 seconds faster on the bike and mashed the run by 21 secondss.
Representing Lutsk Triathlon Federation, Korets proved unstoppable, leaving her rivals in the dust. Second place – Olha Sydorchuk (Kovel Triathlon Federation) and third place – Olena Hutsalo (AmberTriSports). Results
