CrossFest Spring Duathlon — Results Recap

This past Saturday, the trails of Holosiiv Forest hosted one of Ukraine’s most spirited multisport events — the Spring Cross Duathlon, part of the larger CrossFest series. The course: 5.48 km run + 20 km bike + 2.7 km final run — a gritty off-road challenge testing speed, endurance, and mental fortitude.
CrossFest isn’t just one race — it’s a celebration of movement. From cross-country runs, cycling races, and dog-friendly events to kids’ races and full duathlons, this multisport festival continues to grow in popularity.

In the featured Cross Duathlon event, 35 men and 5 women took to the start line — and once again, triathletes led the charge.
Dmytro Stetsiuk (Triathlon Academy Rivne) claimed victory among men with a time of 1:16:35, while Kyiv’s own Anastasiia Hetman (Saucony Run Club) topped the women’s field in 1:48:21.

The podium was rounded out by: Oleksandr Osypchuk (AeroStar-TeamOne), Dmytro Melnykov (Kyiv), Maria Shuper (Kherson) and
Nataliia Koval (Kyiv).

In the relay category, the Kyiv-based duo Tri Kozaky (Vitalii Romanov & Antonina Blazhievska) proved untouchable, claiming gold. Kyrylenko Vladyslav & Viktor Boiko (Kyiv) took silver, and Andrii Kanivets & Andrii Kharchenko (Sumy) brought home bronze.
