Amber Indoor Triathlon 2024: Celebrating Success and Growth in Ukrainian Triathlon

Varash, Ukraine – On February 4th, the city of Varash hosted its fifth annual indoor triathlon, proudly organized by the Amber Tri Sports team. This event marks a significant milestone in the burgeoning triathlon scene in Ukraine, showcasing the remarkable progress and enthusiasm within the sport.
The history of these competitions dates back to 2020. Since then, participation has steadily increased, with 65 athletes taking part in the 2022 edition.
This year’s competition was particularly noteworthy for its inclusion of relay teams, adding an exciting new dimension to the event. Athletes from various age groups competed passionately, underscoring the nature of the sport.
Among the standout performers was Olga Korets, who clinched her third victory, asserting her dominance among female athletes. Meanwhile, Alexander Osypchuk emerged triumphant in the men’s category, showcasing the depth of talent within Ukrainian triathlon.
