Amateur Club Championship of Ukraine

July 13, the Black Sea coastline of Odesa became the battleground for the Ukrainian Amateur Club Aquathlon Championship — a vibrant multisport celebration that crowned Triton as national champions!
They were joined on the podium by Capital Tri and Happy TRI Friends, while Project 13 claimed a hard-fought fourth. Ferrum Team and Aerostar-TeamOne shared fifth, with SIS Ukraine Multisport and Iron Club Odesa completing the top 8.
The event gathered nearly 400 participants across all formats — from aquathlon (three distances), to open water swimming and running events — making it one of the most attended non-triathlon multisport meets of the year. Only Vinnytsia, with 850 athletes, currently tops it.

Aquathlon Long: Maslennikov Surprises, Botyukh Dominates
In the men’s long distance, Vadym Maslennikov (Project 13) led out of the water and never looked back. His control over the run leg was enough to hold off the chase from Serhii Chernyshov (Capital Tri) and Serhii Yangicher (Aerostar-TeamOne), who joined him on the podium.
Among women, Alla Sydorenko (Kharkiv) led after the swim, but it was Anna Botyukh (Aerostar-TeamOne) who surged to victory with a powerful run leg — crossing the line 30 seconds ahead. She was also the fans’ favorite, with over 70% of the pre-race poll.
Arina Drozdova (Aerostar-TeamOne) claimed bronze, while Iryna Bilenka (KIT) and Liudmyla Omelchenko (Seabass) completed the top 5.

Aquathlon Standard: Capital Tri Take Control
The men’s standard race turned into a two-man duel between Semen Tereshchenko and Andrii Pechenyi (both Capital Tri), with Pechenyi pulling away during the run.
Local athlete Denys Polyakov (Odesa) finished third overall. Rostyslav Mishchenko (Zhovti Vody) and Bohdan Demiankenko (Iron Club Odesa) placed inside the top 5.
In the women’s field, Iryna Krotova (SIS Ukraine Multisport) dominated the swim, followed by teammate Sofiia Krotova and Anastasiia Ihnatkina (Happy TRI Friends).
Ignatkina closed the gap on the run and surged ahead to victory.
Nadiia Sominа (Ferrum Team) claimed silver after a strong second half, and Iryna Krotova held on for third. Top-5 finishers included Olha Dyvnych-Bartosyk (Happy TRI Friends) and Sofiia Krotova.

Aquathlon Sprint: Lukyanenko & Kyslianka Fly
The short course sprint belonged to Valeriia Lukianenko and Petro Kyslianka (Academy of Sport), who claimed confident wins.
Among women, Maria Kuznetsova (Capital Tri) and Natela Kordzaia (Iron Club Odesa) reached the podium.
For the men, Yurii Buhar (Happy TRI Friends) and Denys Velychko (Triton) placed 2nd and 3rd respectively.
